Kochanski is not like the boys from the dwarf. She is bright, intelligent and witty and can relate to
high culture. She likes opera and knows her cheeses, she eats low fat yoghurt and thinks chrisalline formations are
'fabaroo', and her jokes are about the third largest city in Vietnam and Bath in the nineteenth century. She has not
chosen to be alone with the rest of the motley crew, having been reluctantly left behind during an encounter with a
parallel universe, in which she rather than Dave Lister was the last human.
Back on red dwarf, Kiochanski enjoyed a brief relationship with Dave Lister but tired of sharing curries and went
back to her previous boyfriend Tim, in the process breaking Lister's heart and shattering his dream of settling down
with her on Fiji.
